David Benadon

David Benadon joined Shionogi Inc. in June 2024 as Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer.

Mr. Benadon has more than 30 years of human resources and organizational leadership including the last 20 years within the pharmaceutical industry. He joined Shionogi Inc. from Oyster Point Pharma, where he served as the Chief Human Resources Officer and led the company through the transition from an early commercial stage biopharmaceutical company to becoming a part of the global healthcare company Viatris. Prior to his role at Oyster Point Pharma, Mr. Benadon served as the U.S. Head of Human Resources at Insmed Incorporated. He also held human resources leadership positions at Novartis Oncology and Daiichi Sankyo, Inc.
